Dr. Snell (Kelly)
holds a Master’s
degree in
Communicative
Disorders from
California State
University,
Northridge as well
as a Doctor of
Audiology degree
from the University
of South Florida,
Tampa. Kelly is
a licensed Florida
Audiologist and
holds her
Certificate of
Clinical Competence
from the American
Speech-Language-Hearing
Association and is a
Fellow of the
American Academy of
Audiology.
Kelly training
includes clinical
externships at
Harbor-UCLA Medical
Center, the Los
Angeles Unified
School District, Los
Angeles Veteran’s
Administration,
Clinical Fellowship
Year at the
Silverstein
Institute in
Sarasota, FL and the
Sarasota County
School District.
Kelly has worked in
the medical field
since graduating
High School; she has
served in various
capacities within
both a general
medical practice as
well as in an ENT
practice where she
worked as a medical
assistant. In
addition, she has
served as a
Speech/Language/Hearing
Specialist in the
Sarasota County
School District as
well as a Pediatric
Audiologist for a
large pediatric ENT
practice in
Southwest Florida.
Kelly melds
her professional
experiences from the
public and private
sectors to empower
parents with viable
information in
regard to their
children’s
development as it
relates to their
communicative needs.
In addition, Dr.
Snell is available
to assist preschool
programs in meeting
the developmental
needs of their
students through
curriculum
consultation,
classroom
modification and
teacher in-service.
Kelly resides in
Sarasota, FL with
her husband, two
sons, and one
daughter. The Snell
family enjoys the
company of three
cats, two horses,
one dog and a
parakeet.
